Organized in partnership with Parks Canada, The Banff Centre, and Banff & Lake Louise Tourism, the music festival celebrates the mountain heritage of Banff and the importance of protected places in Canada.
Mark your calendars for this highly-anticipated event. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, March 8 at 12 p.m. MST at banffcentre.ca.
This year, we are pleased to announce headliners Hedley, June 9 and Walk Off The Earth, June 10 taking the stage in the stunning Cascade Gardens in Banff. Other acts include featured Canadian singer songwriter, Ria Mae who has been touted as 2016 “Next Big Thing” at CBC Music and “2016 Spotlight Artist” at Spotify Canada. Ria’s “Clothes Off” has also been nominated for “Single Of The Year” at the 2016 JUNO Awards alongside Drake’s “Hotline Bling”, The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face” and Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean”. And Amistad, an alternative 5-piece band from Vernon B.C. Canada who continues to shake heads with their epic sounds and impressive songwriting chops. Unsatisfied to churn out simple three-minute rock standards, they continue to challenge their craft by hiking to new songwriting heights and attacking each new live show with the relentless energy of a band on the verge.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Hedley has been sharing their fist-pumping pop for over a decade now and selling millions of albums along the way. They have 2 JUNOs, 11 MuchMusic Video Awards, 3 SOCAN Awards, 17 #1 Much videos and 60 million online video views. These pop sensations will be joined Friday night by Ria Mae, alternative folk singer from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ria has collaborated with other inspiring Canadian musicians such as Classified, whom co-wrote and produced Mae's hit song Thoughts On Fire, a track that Classified himself raps on.
Walk Off The Earth is an unconventional, multi-talented five-piece collaboration. They exploded on Youtube when the band did their own beautiful interpretation of Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know and their creativity has been catipulting them into new and exciting waters ever since.
The concert runs rain or shine, so dress for the weather. And, although it’s nearly summer, be sure to pack warmer clothes and blankets for when the temperature cools off in the evening. Bring a blanket, cushion, or festival chair to sit on. Small bags and packs are permitted, but may be subject to search. Alcohol is not allowed in the festival grounds. And, as much as your beloved dog may love music festivals just as much as you, please leave them at home as no pets are allowed on site. Check www.banffparking.ca for available parking spots in town.
